In October 2024, PowerBlock initiated a recall of the Commercial Pro 100 dumbbell set, sold online from March 2023 to July 2024. The weights can slip off of the handles. The remedy is to replace the handles.
The recalled product can be identified as in the pic above, with the silver plate marked “Pro 100”, the other plate numbering the weight from 5 to 95 lb, a knurled chrome handle, and black frame.
We have featured the PowerBlock dumbbells in several articles, most prominently in the comparison with Ironmaster and Bowflex SelectTech. This is the only known recall of PowerBlock dumbbells.
