2024 Update – Moved a few brands to metric sized sections where they should have been
You get a hold of a great power rack or squat rack, but then you find out that the company doesn’t make the attachments / accessories that you want.
No problem! You should be able to find a compatible attachment or accessory, as long as your rack is made with one of a few standard configurations.
Table of Contents
The 3 Compatibility Specs
The key specs are:
The tubing size of the uprights, as above, typically one of: 2″x2″, 2″x3″, or 3″x3″.
Racks made in China usually use metric sizing. This applies to a lot of brands featured here. They don’t advertise the fact, and you would have to ask them or run into the problem yourself. The tables they are organized in identify them as such.
The hardware/peg diameter that fits into the holes in the uprights, as above. Varies from 1/2″ to 1″. Going by the peg diameter is more consistent across brands than the hole size that is cut somewhat larger than the peg.
The hole spacing in the uprights, ie: the distance between holes on center, as above. This is only applicable for attachments that use 2 holes, the second using a locking pin.
2″ spacing is becoming the standard. Some racks have Westside spacing, which is 1″ spacing at a certain height range for setting bench press safety bars just right, and otherwise 2″ spacing above and below that.
When Slightly Wrong Sized Attachments are Ok
An attachment can fit in a larger hole than it’s made for, but it will be able to wiggle and maybe tip down a little, depending on the snugness of the bracket that goes over the tubing.
Similarly, attachment brackets can fit onto slightly smaller tubing than what they were designed for. This can be less bad than the wrong peg size, because you can glue shims (UHMW plastic or wood) to the inside of the attachment’s bracket to make it fit. Some attachments work well enough even if they’re loose. Some don’t have enough pressure put on them to be a safety issue, like a battle rope anchor, but it could still rattle.
Lastly, the steel gauge (wall thickness) of rack tubing does not factor into compatibility. The tubes are fabricated to an outside diameter spec.
For fitting 3×3 attachments onto 2×3 tubing, or 2×3 attachments onto 2×2 tubing, an Etsy seller is making these adapters to fill the void in the bracket.
When You Should Not Use the Wrong Sized Attachments
I don’t recommend you use load-bearing attachments that don’t fit quite right, such as J-hooks, steel safety arms, or plate holders, unless you have a good way of retrofitting it to be snug enough. Use some common sense, visualize it, and you’ll get the idea.
Attachments Using 2 Holes
In many cases attachments that use a locking pin to secure the attachment into a second hole on the rack’s upright won’t line up the same on all racks. Normally this is the difference in metric and imperial (inches) hole spacing. As much as you want it to work, under most circumstances you won’t get the locking pin in. The offset starts at 1/16″ per hole and widens cumulatively.
If you’re thinking of foregoing the locking pin or buying a thinner one, and you have to ask for confirmation on whether it’s safe, you probably shouldn’t do it.
List of Power Rack Attachments by Size
Rogue has among the best and most consistent quality. Cheap Amazon-only brands, which I don’t like to list unless there are no other options, are the worst and might be unsafe. Most other brands are somewhere in the middle or sometimes as good as Rogue.
Not listed here are complex attachments and accessories that will not fit any other racks, such as those that mount on the top or bottom crossmembers or need the rack to be a specific width between uprights. Examples are special pull up bars or rack extensions.
Size categories ordered smallest to largest.

75x75mm Tubing, 16mm Pegs
Griffin Fitness GR3 Lite, Rep Fitness PR-4000, Titan X-3, Vulcan Flat Base Power Rack

3×3 Tubing, 3/4″ Pegs
American Barbell power racks, EliteFTS Collegiate / R3
See the 3×3, 5/8″ section above for more attachments that will fit these racks well enough.
75x75mm Tubing, 25mm Pegs
Titan’s TITAN Series, Rep Fitness PR-5000, Vulcan Strength Racks (except Flat Base Power Rack), Griffin Fitness GR3, Giant Lifting 3X Series, Fringe Sport Osprey Power Cage, Fray Fitness Savage Series, Get Rx’d Goliath rack
Slightly smaller than 3″x3″, and pegs slightly smaller than 1″. Generally compatible with 3×3 racks. The attachments here with a locking pin using a second hole, such as spotter arms, can even sometimes fully fit on 3×3 racks because the smaller peg size somewhat makes the attachment drop a little lower and reach the slightly wider spaced hole to lock into.
There have been reports of Titan’s all-steel J-cups and UHMW-lined J-cups not fitting over 3×3 tubing.
3×3 Tubing, 1″ Pegs
Rogue Monster, Ethos Power Rack 1.0, Amstaff 370, Fringe 3×3 rig, Valor rig, Legend Fitness Performance Series, EliteFTS Scholastic Half Racks / Garage Power Racks, Sorinex XL Series, Bells of Steel Manticore, Bolt Fitness Storm Series, PRx Pro, Prime Prodigy, eliteFTS Quick Ship Power Rack, Inspire Fitness FPC1, Stray Dog Strength, Oak Club Manufacturing, Irwin Fitness
Universal Fit Attachments
For a high and low cable system that works on almost any power rack, see the Spud Inc Pulley System shown above.
If you only need a high pulley (for lat pulldowns and tricep pushdowns), see Giant Lifting’s pulley system for a much lower price.
This Rep Fitness dip attachment above fits on almost any rack with 1″ round safety bars (thanks Anthony!). The rack needs to have at least 21″ depth between the front and back uprights, which is the case for all freestanding racks and most floor-mounted racks except the most shallow ones. The rack’s hole spacing does not matter, as the bottom part of the attachment simply rests against wherever the lower safety bar is.
There are a couple solutions for power rack strap safeties if you can’t find a match. If you can get a brand of them with brackets that fit your rack but the straps are the wrong length, get two 2″ Stren-Flex slings of the right length to replace them with. They are extremely strong, with pertinent info labeled and a chart on that webpage with the pound ratings.
Your second option is a pair of Spud Inc suspension straps that hang off your rack’s top crossmembers.
Rear Rack Extension and Foot Stabilizer Fit
Multiple questions on this in the comments prompted me to add this section.
You generally can’t add a rear rack extension – usually to accommodate weight plate storage – made for a different brand. The height of the holes off the floor and the rack width would have to be precisely the same.
Similarly, with extension feet meant to stabilize a rack, even if the tubing size and peg size are a match, the holes would have to be precisely the same height off the floor, or they would float and defeat the purpose.
I have heard reports of people using these across brands, but in every case it seems the user made some modifications to make it work. If you found a case where they are perfectly compatible, please leave a comment!
General Recommendations
For the best compatibility going forward, I highly recommend getting a 3×3 rack taking 5/8″ pegs (Rogue Monster Lite compatible) or 1″ pegs (Rogue Monster compatible). Even you never buy a Rogue product, they lead the way in things like this.
Rogue appears to be in the beginning stages of abandoning their 2×3 racks in favor of 3×3. Other manufacturers have noticed and likely will follow suit. This doesn’t mean that nobody will make racks with 2×2 or 2×3 tubing. I believe that there will be a market for those lighter and cheaper racks for a long time, and they are not necessarily bad racks. The 3×3 attachments sell much better and are more numerous, because people who spend the extra money for a 3×3 rack are more likely to soup it up.
You might want to steer clear of racks that have metric sized tubing. That said, many people know what they’re getting into and choose to buy those.
I’m looking at the ethos folding rack from dicks sporting goods. It’s 3”X3” and 11 gauge steel. I can’t find any attachments for it anywhere online and it doesn’t have holes like normal squat racks. Does ethos make attachments for the foldable rack (they do for the standard), and if ethos doesn’t, are there any products that would work?
Just a FYI, HulkFit is also 60mmx60mm with 1” holes.
Someone else reported the Hulkfit is 65mm. Do you have the rack?
I have the Hulkfit Power Cage, it’s closer to 63mm.
63mm is as close to 2.5″ as you can get, so we’ve got three conflicting measurements for the Hulkfit now. Anyone got calipers? I got a pair to measure all this kind of stuff. It’s tough to nail it down with a tape measure.
Afraid not on the calipers :/ The picture was more to show I have the cage and did go out there and measure, but it was hard to take while getting it lined up correctly (hence the tape which kind of throws off the measurement). When I hold it in place with both hands and look at it, it’s between 63mm and 64mm, closer to 63mm though.
Ok, I’m putting it into the 2.5″ section now. All the Amazon comments seem to agree.
I ended up getting a caliper, the caliper says 60.2mm, I tested all 4 posts and it ranged from 59.3mm to 60.6mm depending on the post and where I measured the post. I thought maybe the caliper was inaccurate so I tested it on my Rogue Mil-Spec Echo Bumper Plates (because they have a strict +/- 0.2mm requirement) and was within 0.1mm to all the specifications listed for the plates I checked. I am going to contradict my previous statement and say the Hulkfit Power Cage uses a 60mm x 60mm post.
Based on that, do you know if the PowerTec Resistance Band Pegs for the PowerTec WB-PR cage would fit my Hulkfit Cage? (https://www.powertec.com/new-resistance-band-pegs-attachment-wb-pr16-rbp?gclid=CjwKCAjwoZWHBhBgEiwAiMN66d02s0FNPPbf44Q3-BJkshO3MtgN6Izxn6eHkNEy1eowcN6q_BVBjRoCnNkQAvD_BwE)
You have the PowerTec WB-PR cage listed as 60mm x 60mm, but I don’t see that listed anywhere in the specs for the cage. I’d rather not drill any holes in the base of my cage for band pegs so that seems like an ideal solution if it will fit.
Great, I’m updating it to 60mm.
As for the Powertec, I believe someone somewhere said it was 60mm.
Those band pegs look like they might only fit the Powertec.
Any reason the Titan T-3 safety straps aren’t on the compatiblity list? I own a bolt lighting series rack and want a set of safety straps, the only one I can find so far is the Titan T-3 version.
It’s right there on the list, under 2×3 tubing, 5/8″ hardware
Sorry about that! My old eyes looked right over it. Thank you.
Anyone know if there are any dip bars compatible with the titan t-3 series folding power rack?
In the Sunny Health section you mention it is 2×3 3/4″ hardware but say it should fit well enough with 3×3 5/8″. Did you mean it should fit well enough with 2×3 5/8″?
Yes, thanks for the correction!
Anyone know if the Rogue Monster Monolift will properly fit the REP PR5000?
I just bought the Rogue Adjustable Monolift (delivered today) and the bottom pins don’t fit in my Rep Fitness PR5000. I suspect the Rogue racks are exactly 2” on center holes and unfortunately the REP PR5000 seems to be 1 15/16” on center. Right now I’m deciding if I should still use the monolift without the bottom pins. Measure your rack… I made the false assumption that they were 2” on center.
Yep, the PR5000 is 50mm hole spacing, just under 2″. I need a good looking way to add hole spacing to the list to help everyone avoid this situation. I might have to list them all out, and note it on each attachment, or at least point out the ones with metric hole spacing.
Thanks Jim and Dave for the reply. I’ve messaged a lot of powerlifters on IG and most have told me that the bottom pin isn’t a huge issue unless your re-rack path is unstable or has sway. Several that lift way more than I do (600lbs+) said that they would (and have) trust(ed) the monolift under heavy loads without the use of the bottom pin as long as it fit securely at the top. I’m still debating whether or not to buy Rogue’s version, or hold onto hope that REP’s will be put into production again.
Thanks guys. Also, as you probably know, the Rep Fitness posts are not 3”, they are 75mm. Attachments made for 3” posts (like the Rogue monolift) will not be as snug as they should be.
Anyone know if this “T-2 SERIES LAT TOWER POWER RACK ATTACHMENT” works on the PR-1000?
Has anyone tried a rogue monster lite hip thruster bench with the vulcan flat base power rack? a lot of the rogue lite accessories are compatible with this power rack
Sadly to say that Rep PR-4000 Landmine does not fit Titan X3 although they’re all 3×3 tubing with 5/8″ hardware. I guess it’s because Rep PR-4000 tubes are slightly narrower than Titan X3 tube. I made scratches on my Titan X3 rack but still couldn’t install. Rep PR-4000 landmine is too tight.
As Titan does not provide landmine, does Rogue Monster Lite Landmine work?
What I said is partly true. PR-4000 Landmine does not fit Titan X3 when you top-mount it. The “claw” is too tight to fit Titan X3 tubing. However, if you side-mount it by putting the “claw” adjacent to the tubing, the slight dimension difference causes no problem at all.
Actually side-mouting increases flexibility by allowing the “claw” to rotate and is the most popular way of installing.
Excellent, thanks for sharing!
Just measured the dimensions of my Valor Fitness BD-41 and I’m pretty sure that the dimensions given here (and on their own website) aren’t correct. I measured 2-11/32″ with a tape measure. I bet if I had a good caliper that it would show really close to 60mm.
It sounds like you measured pretty accurately to get that precision. If it’s been 10/32″ (5/8″) and 11/32″ then 60mm would be it. How about the brackets on the attachments? Are they pretty snug?
I only have the J hooks and safety bars right now but I’ve got their dip bar attachments on the way. The J hooks have some front/back movement, but are good on the rotational axis around the pin. I measured front to back at about 2.5″, but maybe a tad bit smaller. They might work with 2.5″ racks, but it would be a very very snug fit and they would probably sit rotated.
When I get the dip bars in, I can measure those as well.
I have a TITAN X-3 rack and am looking to attach ROGUE monster LITE Spotter arms. TITAN hardware is 11/16″ and RML hardware is 5/8″ (0.6875 TITAN space for a 0.625 ROGUE attachment ) so it will have some space. IS IT DANGEROUS?
I don’t think the bottom hole will line up for the safety lock pin. You might find that the arms don’t quite stick 90 degrees out, causing the bar to roll down it.
Anybody know if Rogue’s vertical bar holder for the monster lite would fit the pr4000?
Any clue if the Titan T2 lat pulldown leg holder kit will fit on the REP PR1100?
I’m searching for the Hulk Fit Extra Long 2″ diameter weight posts. My set was missing 1 on delivery and I cannot seem to find them anywhere.
Just picked up a bodycraft f430 the other day . cant seem to find anything compatible. is this the case?
i see theres attachments from bodycraft itself. but not everythinng id like monolift etc.
Any attachments for the Ethos wall mount? The have pins sticking out vs holes. Am i totally restricted with this setup?
The unique design of the pins on that makes it totally incompatible with any other model.
I had the same question, do you think someone could drill holes into it to make it work?
I have yet to find anything that will fit my Eleiko half rack. The posts are 8,5×8,5 (meaning bigger than 3×3). Eleikos own J-cups are quite basic. Anyone else knows what might fit this type of size?
They are 8cm x 8cm*
Too big for anything I know. Is it one of the XF 80 half racks? I don’t normally list half racks in the chart, but I could add the XF 80 power rack in its own incompatible section.
It is the half rack yes. The power rack is the same except of course deeper. I have found one compatible option from Italy called Hatlex. They are as expensive as Eleiko sometimes even more than that: https://www.hatlex.com/postazioni/stations/accessories-for-heavy-duty-series-rack/hook-set-uhmv-couple.html
I have the Hulkfit power rack. My only real dissatisfaction is with the bare metal j-cups. I have found these to be as close as I can find for the measurements.
https://www.fitnessavenue.ca/j-hooks-2-0-2-5-x-2-5
Are they worth a shot shipping them across the border?
Yep, those look much better than the Hulkfit J cups and the only one I’ve seen. I don’t normally add Canadian companies’ attachments on here but in this case it might make sense, with the way so many people have bought the Hulkfit rack over the last year.
I took one for the team and they do fit. The j-cup plastic seems a little less quality as it catches abrasions right away from knurling. It’s definitely better than nothing. Metal on metal j-cups were obnoxious.
Great, thanks for the info. I have added the Fitness Avenue J-cups for people looking for better J-cups for all those Hulkfit racks floating around now.
Does anyone know if the Titan T-3 Series Adjustable Lever Arms are compatible with the Rogue R-3?
Any information on ATX racks? Compatibility 70 x 70 mm tubing with 21mm hardware.
I’m wondering the same, either the 60x60mm with 21 mm hardware (2.36×2.36″ and 0.82″)
or 70×70 with 21 mm (2.76×2.76″ and 0.8″)
closest thing here appears to be 2×2, 1″ and 3×3, 1″.
Dont know if these differences would make 3×3″, 1″ not suitable for the rack i was planning on getting (although atx do make pretty much every attachment i would want, however if i had to get a new rack for some reason it would be annoying not being able to reuse attachments)
It looks like ATX is a European company with no US distribution. Very unique sizing, as you point out.
I have the Ethos 1.0 power rack & I’m interested in getting the Rogue Shrimp trawler. Does anyone know if the hole spacing would line up? The top holes on my Ethos are spaced roughly 2.5″ on center apart with 1/2″ diameter. I imagine if it’s close enough I could drill the holes bigger.
Any experience with prime fitness and their prodigy racks? Their attachments are ridiculously priced. Didn’t know if rogue monster rack attachments would work. Both have 3×3 posts with 1” holes spaced at 2”.
I haven’t heard anything from owners of the Prime racks, but I’ve added the Prime Prodigy rack to the 3×3 with 1″ pegs table, thanks!
Does anyone know if Rep Fitness PR 4000 rack pull-up bars will fit Rogue Monster lite racks? I have a RML-390C.
No. Rep racks are couple of inches narrower than Rogue racks.
Anyone know if Rogue’s lever arms will fit a rep pr-5000? My main concern is that they will be too lose as Rogue’s posts are slightly smaller than 3 inches. I’m tired of waiting for rep to restock the iso arms and am leaning toward’s rogue’s arms over sorinex’s. I love the sliding mechanism of rogue’s arms.
Did you ever try the Rogue lever arms on the Rep PR-5000?
Any body know the specs on the post for a ProFormCarbon Foldable Wall Rack. Or anyone happen to have a opinion on this brand and model?
Not sure if it helps but I spent months looking for something to fit a 60mm X 60mm with one inch holes and found this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NZ28QHB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I can confirm that the weight holder and barbell holder fits a 60mmx60mm rack with one inch holes.
There are issues with the Hulkfit attachments. The tape on the J-hooks is a joke. They think the outside safety spotter arms are “dip bars”, even on their own website. When a company is that careless I have to wonder if the products are even safe and have to recommend against them.
Does anyone know if there is a fitness manufacturer that makes jammer arms that would fit a Body Solid GPR378 power rack?
I have an Elite FTS ready to ship rack. The uprights are 3×3 11ga, hardware is 1″. I want to put Rogue’s trolley/lever arm kit on the rack. Has anyone done this ? Will it even work?. Looking at the specs looks possible, just an expensive mistake if it doesnt work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi David, can you add AmStaff TR023 (looks like a Rep 1000/1100), Fit505 (2×2), Fit505 Ultra (not sure about sizing), and Northern Lights CrossBox (Rogue Infinity/R series replica) to the list? Thanks!
Sure, I added the Amstaff TR023. I’m not sure about the Fit505 racks. Never heard of them before. I added the Northern Lights Crossbox rack, but it’s not even close to compatible with Infinity, it’s 2×2.
Wish you’d add the PRX Pro series 3×3 upright and accessory compatibility as well! Thanks so much
would also love to see PRX info. Looking to combine that with some rep stuff to see if even possible
Good news, the PRx Pro attachments are compatible with 3×3, 1″ pin. I added a couple of them to the table.
I can confirm that the Sunny health and Fitness stand here uses 60mmx60mm uprights with 1″ hardware. I know you weren’t aware of any that did. I bought my stand back in July for like $280, it’s gone up a lot since then though.
Does anyone know if the Titan T-2 leg holder for lat pull down will fit REP PR-1100 rack?
I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’m commenting to follow this.
Has there been an update? I saw someone post about this on Reddit (and in Discord). Rep Fitness should REALLY customize this and create this piece. I’d easily pay $50 for it just to get a better ROI out of the lat pulldown.
I checked Rep PR1100 and it says 48in is the outside width and the Titan leg holder is 44in (bracket to bracket). I feel like it SHOULD fit but I don’t want to pull the trigger lol
This is an amazing resource. Thanks so much.
I’m about to go look at a Ziva power rack for sale It has the 3×3 metric spacing like Rep and Titan. I need to confirm depth. If I get it, I’d like to get safety straps. If it’s closest to Rogue 43 in vs Rep 41 and Titan 42, are the slightly smaller metric uprights safe to use with a Rogue strap or not?
Thanks
This is the most helpful article I’ve come across in a long time. Thank you for your efforts and contributions to the home gym community.
Hello! Thanks for putting this awesome information out there! I’m curious, since the Titan X3 and Rogue Monster Lite racks are similar do you think that the Titan RACK MOUNTED H-PND attachment will for the Rogue monster lite racks? I’m scanning Rogue’s site looking for the inside of the rack dimensions like Titan provides, but I’m not seeing them. Thank you.
Can a Titan Lat Tower for X3 fit a Rogue Monster Lite Rack?
I found this article online from someone who was able to do it. https://github.com/MarkBuffalo/lat-pulldown-guide
Amazing article he did! I’ll have to add another link to it.
Wow – this is the most useful page of information I’ve come across while putting my home gym together – thank you! I’ve got a Titan X-3 rack and want a dip attachment for it. There’s a used Rogue Monster Matador that’s available but I’m concerned that using the smaller 5/8” pin in the 1” hole that the Matador has would create some “slop” that might be annoying, even though the tubing is 3 x3. Any thoughts?
Matador Lite is what you want. Titan X-3 is 5/8inches and the Monster LITE is 5/8in–while the Monster is 1in
Great list!
I have a Force USA MyRack and attachments. Have also adapted Bells of Steel attachments by grinding down the pins.
Just wanted to pass along that Force USA My Rack holes and attachments are actually 9/16in not 1/2in.
Thanks again!
Is it the holes or the pins that are 9/16″? The holes will always measure larger than the pins.
My mistake, not the holes. The pins are 9/16. I’ve measured their band pegs as well.
Actually bought some 1/2in detent pins to use at one point because I too thought they were 1/2in. Much too small.
Would be happy to send pictures as well if that helps
Sure, if you can attach images here or email them to me, that will help!
Ok, what’s the best email?
Also, their site has the hole diameter as 5/8in if that helps.
I sent you an email
Hi,
Does anyone have the full dimensions(holes and overall lengths) of monster lite uprights(with west size hole spacing)? I want to laser cut some copies to add to an existing home rack we made.
Rogue only makes flip down safeties for the monster series racks and are not compatible with the RML 5/8″ holes. Rep makes flip down safeties for their PR-4000 racks with sizes 24″ 30″ & 41″ depths. With a Rogue RML 490C with a rack depth of 43″ would the PR-4000 41″ flip down safeties be compatible?
I recently bought a rogue RML-490C and may want to upgrade it to a 6 post rack in the future. I dont think you can buy 2 individual rml 90″ uprights from rogue but you can buy REP pr 4000 uprights that come 80″ or 93″. Would those uprights be compatible with rogue crossmembers and the existing uprights? Also if it is possible to just purchase two existing rogue crossmembers does anyone know if that is the case?
Hi David. Two questions. It looks like Titan updated the X-3 Bolt Down Rack to 82″ Height from it’s original 80″. However, the rear top crossmember comes down a bit. Would this allow for this updated Titan X-3 to accommodate the REP PR 400 lat pull down attachment?
Secondly, it shows now that the updated X-3 holes are 11/16 which is now slightly larger? Did they really change it and can you use Rep PR 4000 attachments on this?
Thank you!
A lat attachment is unlikely to fit any rack that it wasn’t designed for.
Titan X-3 hole size hasn’t changed. The pegs are 5/8″, and a 5/8″ peg does not fit into a 5/8″ hole.
I’m looking for front lever/jammer arms for my monster lite. I’m seeing from your list the rep iso arms and the titan x-3 lever series might work is that right?
They’ll work. I’ve heard the Titan lever arms are dicey because you can catch a finger in something easily when adjusting.
Amazing discussion board here! Thank you! Anyway, finally got a used monster rack… The thing I’ve been contemplating is hybridizing it since rogue for whatever reason chooses not to sell individual monster uprights. Anyone know why?
The idea is that I could make the cage fully rogue and then go with a rep uprights and crossmembers and daisy chain it to mine and then that could free me up to other attachments and more customizability. It’s a 4 post so if I had the ability to find a 6 post that would have been cool but I didn’t. I’ve been thinking about making my own weight stack for the future since my space is super limited or if I can possibly integrate the lat pull row rep attachment. I know in that case it may be a height issue but possibly shimming might work if the lat extension doesn’t hit the upper crossmember.
But for adding a rep upright… The only issue as well documented here is for the rep 5000 is in the hole spacing (3×3, 1″ bolt) and really this would only apply to the cross member bracket at the top and bottom and more specifically only the second bolt hole is the problem. Anything I do from the crossmember on can be rep or similar in metric spacing. Correct me if I’m missing something but can anyone tell me how far out is that second bolt hole and could I just drill it out the 1/16″ or so to make it so that it could integrate monster with rogue. Sounds like that’s why the one guy had to use a smaller bolt to accommodate the us to metric hole spacing. Seems reasonable.
Rogue does sell custom ordered uprights, etc but has suspended all that due to the incredible business increase due to covid.
Hi – any idea whether Rogue Monster Lite spotter arms SAML-24 will fit a Titan Fitness X-3 folding rack? They are both 3×3 with pins/holes that appear compatible based on your (awesome!) info above, but I’m worried about the metric hole spacing on the Titan rack vs. the Rogue spotters. Thanks!
The locking pin hole will never be lined up on any attachments with the metric-imperial spacing mismatch.
Thanks for confirming. That’s what I was concerned about.
Then again, looking at how far the spotter arms need to be rotated on the fixed pin in order to be removed, I’m thinking they may work safely even without the locking pin in place.
Am I crazy, or are the spotter arms just as safe (or very nearly as safe) even without the locking pins? Anyone use them this way on a regular basis?
I don’t bother using the locking pins on spotter arms. There’s no way they’ll fall off. The only risk is that they can rotate out of place somewhat, from a big enough crash or from a lateral force.
Hello, which would be the best lever arms for an XM fitness Infinity rack? https://www.treadmillfactory.ca/xm-fitness-365-infinity-power-rack-7ft?
I was thinking Rogue Cal Trolley. Thank you
Yes, if you can afford it the Rogue ones will be the best as far as quality and guaranteed fit.
Has anyone used the rogue arms on a Elite LFS 3×3 11ga rack?
will the Titan X-3 SERIES ADJUSTABLE LEVER ARMS (https://www.titan.fitness/racks/rack-accessories/x-3-series/x-3-series-adjustable-lever-arms/400848.html) work with the Ethos power rack 5.0 (https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/ethos-power-rack-5-0-17au6uthspwrrck50gmu/17au6uthspwrrck50gmu) that has 1″holes?
The X-3 attachments have 5/8″ pegs. I’d suggest trying one of the lever arms available with 1″ pegs.
Thanks for the reply David. Ordered the adjustable ones w/1”
Wondering about 1″ holes. Are they technically 1 1/16? I have an elitefts 3×3 scholastic rack and they seem to measure that. Sorinex makes short band pegs that they say are 1 1/16. Do you know if the Sorinex pegs are compatible with my rack? Thanks.
Yeah, should be. I’m using the convention of the hardware/peg sizing as 1″, with the holes slightly larger. The hole is usually like 1/16″ larger than the peg size.
Are the newer Rep Fitness 4000 series Monolift Attachments compatible with the Rogue Monster Lite racks?
Other than the locking pin, it should fit.
anyone know where can i buy trolley arms compatible with power rack ppr200x?
Nobody is going to make trolley arms for a 2×2 rack. You would have to buy a 2×3 version and glue in shims to make it fit.
Question for anyone with the Titan Rack Mountable H-PND…does anyone know if I could make this work on a Monster Lite rack?
Needing some help… I bought a used RML rack and it came with the trolley system but the guy didn’t have the handles for it, it was a strange deal. But I knew I was getting a good deal on the rack that even if I had to pay a couple hundred bucks for just the handles I was still happy with my deal. But I emailed Rogue and they don’t sell just the handles for some reason…? Does anybody know where I can get just the handles to jammer arms that would fit rogue monster lite?
Hey David, talking about Powertec, have you ever tried out their Levergym Squat/Calf Machine and their Compact Leg Sled?
New X-3 series spotter arms from Titan. Any reason these can’t fit the monster lite 3×3 racks? I saw somewhere that Rogue fits titan but titan doesn’t fit Rogue. I don’t expect the security pin to lineup.
https://www.titan.fitness/racks/rack-accessories/x-3-series/x-3-series-spotter-arms/401092.html
Some fit, some don’t. The older X-3 spotter arms I have are loose enough to fit Rogue. It’s a question of 1 millimeter. If it comes down to it, you can take a metal file to the UHMW on the inside of the bracket to make it fit.
Just got the Titan X-3 squat handles fit perfectly on my Rogue SML-2
This site is fantastic! I live in Calgary and have an rogue r4 rack. Northern Lights Crossbox attachments fit my rack perfectly FWIW. My question is will the BoS attachments also fit my rogue r4 as both have 5/8 hardware? BoS has really been pumping out great new attachments and the fact they are based out of Calgary in a bonus.
Cheers,
Will
I think all the BoS racks are 60mm tubing, not compatible. See the 60x60mm section.

Local welder will help and be cheaper in all likelihood. An experienced welder will be good for making a solid rack too if you give them a plan – it’s what they do, work off plans.
Does anyone know if the Precor Inspire Full cage will work with other companies attachments? Its a 3×3 11gauge and looks identical to the Ethos 1.0 but doesnt say online
Thank You
Eyeballing it, I’d say yes, those look like holes for 1″ hardware and would be compatible.
Just got the Rep PR-4000 safety straps, and they are a really tight squeeze on my Rogue RML-3. Returning them since they’re difficult to take on and off – I’d say these are not compatible.
Thanks for sharing! I will add a note on them.
Are the Rogue MONSTER LITE PLATE STORAGE CHANNELS compatible with Epoch power racks? They appear to be similar to the MONSTER PLATE STORAGE CHANNELS but less expensive.
https://www.roguefitness.com/monster-lite-plate-storage-channel-pair?prod_id=20473
I searched for “epoch power rack” and nothing comes up. Is that the right spelling? Do you have the tubing and hardware size?
Very sorry, I meant the Ethos Power Rack (3×3, 1in hardware).
Yeah, Ethos rack is listed above in that section. That’s a pretty basic attachment, no reason it wouldn’t fit.
Sorry, just one more question for clarification: In the 3×3 1in section above, Ethos is listed as compatible with Rogue 13″ Monster Plate Storage Channel. However, the Monster LITE Plate Storage Channels that I listed at the link above appear to possibly be slightly different. I wanted to order some of the “LITE” style channels for my Ethos rack, but I want to confirm that they will be as compatible as the non-“LITE” version listed above.
Ah I missed that part. That’s different sized hardware, so no, they won’t be as compatible.
That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out. Which part of the hardware is different sized? Both styles appear to attach to a 3×3 upright, but is there something else different about them?
It’s the peg diameter that goes in the hole, which is also the bolt diameter used to assemble the rack. See the top of the article. I’ll see if I can add in some pics to make it clearer.
The MONSTER PLATE STORAGE CHANNEL appears to have 3×3 channel and 1 7/8″ diameter holes, while the MONSTER LITE PLATE STORAGE CHANNEL appears to have 3×3 channel, but I can’t find a hold diameter. I’m just trying to determine if the “LITE” version will fit my Ethos rack.
MONSTER PLATE STORAGE CHANNELhttps://www.roguefitness.com/monster-plate-storage-channel
MONSTER LITE PLATE STORAGE CHANNEL https://www.roguefitness.com/monster-lite-plate-storage-channel-pair
The monster light is 5/8 size hole so no It will not fit the ethos rack you need 1 inch hole which is monster line
Any idea if the 2×2, 1” spacing attachments fit the new Sunny rack?
Sunny Health & Fitness Power Zone Strength Rack Power Cage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B8Z6BZK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_mqeTFb1N115VE
No they use 3/4″ hardware, holes are only slightly above that.
David, thanks for the quick reply! That sucks, so it sounds like as it stands the Sunny rack isn’t really compatible with much. That’s good to know, looks like I am going PR1000!
Is there any easy way to downsize the peg on attachments to fits smaller holes? Asking for a friends with no tools and no shop experience. :)
my son has the Fitness Gear Pro rack from Dicks. While you can move the top bar up and down from pull ups to dips he would rather have something just for dips without having to do this all the time. I guess this is 3 x3 but I am unsure how to find a dip attachment that works. Any suggestions?
What is the size of the holes?
I believe 1 1/8
The holes are 1 inch I actually use rep fitness PR 5000 j hooks on mine And they fit great I imagine you could use anything rogue monster series or rap PR 5000 or titan X3
Any suggestions on substitute spotter arms for a UCS X-50 Power Rack? The Hook plate is not standard. Thank you.
I am considering the Ethos Folding Rack from Dick’s Sporting. Is there a compatible dip attachment for it? It has no holes but pegs:
If not, can I repurpose a Rogue Monster/ Monster Lite/ Rep dip attachment to fit it?
Alternately, can I drill holes in the rack to make it work with one of the above dip attachments?
Weird design, like they were trying hard to make it incompatible. Drilling holes might be your best bet.
I’m looking for attachments that will fit on the Sunny Health & Fitness Power Zone rack. It is 2×2 with 3/4″ hardware. Hole spacing is 3 inches. Hoping to track down a dip attachment and spotter arms for starters. Any suggestions?
The 2×2, 5/8″ hardware attachments might fit well enough.
Anyone know if Rogue monster crossmembers holes will align with monster lite upright holes? Both state to be 6″ on center
Different size hardware
Will the Titan Fitness Rack Mounted Preacher Curl attachment work with a Rogue Monster Lite SML-2 Squat Stand?
Hi, I was wondering if the attachments specified for the 3×3, 1″ racks would fit on the XM Fitness Infinity Power rack? Thank you :)
Yep should be just right!
Great info man, thanks for putting this together. Also, regarding the Body-Solid SPR1000: While the holes on the sides of the uprights are 7/8″, the hardware used to secure the attachments is actually 3/4″. So they will fit on American Barbell 3×3 3/4″ hw racks and vice-versa. A small handful of the attachments also use 5/8″ hardware besides the J-Cups, like the Jammer Arms (they secure to the front/back of the uprights, not the sides), and the Spotter Arms (SPRSA). I know, not much lol. The flip-down safeties are naturally 5/8″ as well but I’m not sure on depth (I’ll get back to you on that). The straps use the 3/4″ hardware though. To my knowledge, everything else is 3/4″, save for the multi-grip pull-up bar (SPRCUA) but I know you don’t include bars like that. Anyway, just thought this might be helpful.
Thanks for all the info, Andy! I’ll see about adding some of this in the next update. Body Solid sure does make this harder with their weird sizing.
I recently bought the body solid GPR400. I really want safety straps, but it seams the length of compatible ones don´t match(?)!. Any suggestions on how to find safety straps that fits and work?
The Spud Inc Suspension Straps will fit any rack. It’s a little different way of doing it but works fine.
https://www.spud-inc-straps.com/suspension-straps-7457331.html
Spud’s advertising is lousy the way they don’t even have any pics of them used this way, only in the video, but it’s one of the main things they’re for. BOS has a couple pics at the below link where you can see their straps used this way, but between the two I’d trust the Spud straps a little more because Spud has been sewing all kinds of straps like this for years and has a solid reputation for them.
https://www.bellsofsteel.us/product/suspension-spotter-straps-and-bodyweight-system/
Thank you, i will look at that.
How much is it okey for the strap to missmatch in length? my inner depth of the cage seams to be 34.5″ and Titan has a strap that will fit that is for 36″ in depth. I understand that it’s hard to give a yes or no answer but any help is welcome :)
It’s fine if safety straps have to be anchored higher and hang down more because of the length mismatch.
Currently have a Rogue RM3 and have acquired more space. Will the Titan Series 24” tentension kit work in order to morph a 6 post rack? I want plate storage and the drop in reverse hyper. I assume yes because they are both 90”, 3×3, and 1” hardware. Just want to confirm before I purchase. Thanks in advance!
Consider for something like that the hole spacing, hole position, and height all have to be identical or it’s not going to fit, and it’s not, because Titan uses metric spacing.
I added a power tec lat pull down to my rogue monster rack, holes lined up perfectly just had to use washers and longer bolts. Thanks for the resource its super helpful.
Any idea what the spacing is for the PRX Pro line? It’s 3×3 hardware, but I’d like to know if I could use their attachments for my PR5000.
Hey D – It seems that Rogue safety spotter arms would work with a Titan rack, perhaps with a bit of play. Is this correct?
It has to be the matching size category as per the tables. They will generally fit within the same category despite the metric sizing. The pin holes on the spotter arms might not line up enough, but I don’t bother putting the pin in.
Hi David, I am trying to extend my Rogue RML-490C to create my own weight stack. Do you know if Rep or Titan Cross members will bolt up to my 490C? I know some of their holes are slightly different but im not sure if they will fit. I saw one comments of people adding Titan plate storage racks to an RML-490C. I am just trying to add 2 more uprights to make a 6 post rack.
Very unlikely that the holes will line up.
Even though Hulkfit is somewhat unique at 2.56×2.56 (65mm x 65mm), it turns out the Powertech (2.5×2.5) accessories fit. I have the Hulkfit cage but added Powertech j-cups and spotter arms. Works great.
I’m going to try and the powertech safety bars. Hope those for the interior depth between the uprights.
Thanks for the comment. I’ve been looking for compatible arms.
Hey David, thanks for the taking the time to do all the research and type all this out for everyone. Quick question, do for Rogue Monster racks, will the rep iso arms work? It seems like the .02” would make a difference, but should still be able to make it work right?
I think the pins are only 2 holes apart, so .04″ off. Might as well try?
It didnt work, tried the rogue crossmember on the PR5000 and i couldnt get the second bolt in. However, i used a smaller bolt and it worked, but its not as stable.
Be nice to add more companies that ship outside USA. Bells Of Steel, Gorila Fitness, etc
Hi David, I have the rep 1000 series, would the rogue landmine or monster landmine 2.0 work with it? thanks.
The Rogue Landmine would potentially work. You might need a couple washers to keep the 5/8″ bolt in place in the larger holes.
Hello David,
What attachments would fit a bridge built rack with 3×3 uprights? I don’t know the diameter whether its 3/4th, 5/8th or 1 inch! Thanks!
Hi David, do you know if the Sorinex utility seat will work on the REP PR-4000?
Looks like the Rogue utility seat wouldn’t work because of the width.
https://www.sorinex.com/products/utility-seat
https://www.roguecanada.ca/rogue-monster-utility-seat
Great resource. Thanks for the work!
Hey David,
This is a great list and saves us the time from guessing/asking everyone for experiences. Do you know if the Rep Fitness PR-4000 Front Foot Extension Pairis compatible with the Titan X3 short rack?
Hey David,
Thank you so much for putting all of this together. If you haven’t heard it enough, there are so many grateful people.
i’ve searched through all the comments, but I haven’t found this question or answer.
If i added two 43 in cross members the back bottom and top of my rogue ML-690, could I attach this titan lat pulldown to it?
https://www.titan.fitness/racks/rack-accessories/lat-tower-tall-rack-attachment-%E2%80%93-x-2%2C-x-3%2C-and-t-3-series-power-rack-compatible/401036.html
I’ve gotten some questions on lat attachments, rear rack extensions, and front foot extensions. I’ll see about adding a more prominent note in the article about it, but it’s unlikely for anything to be compatible across brands that requires a certain height for the holes, even for racks that look like clones at first glance. Titan’s holes are metric spaced, not 2″ or 3″. Maybe a couple people will try and share their experience.
Hi David, I purchased the Rep4000 front foot extensions for Titan X3. The holes line up, but to use the right bolts I had to raise up a hole which left a 2″ gap under the front that I blocked with wood.
Good you found a way to make it work!
I bought a Ethos 1.0 power rack can you suggest any type or brand of lat pulldown attachment that would be compatible to go with my rack
I have a Fitness Gear rack, from Dick’s. It is no longer available (date of Feb 2013 on the Model Number sticker), I am having a hell of a time figuring out the exact dimensions to find accessories. The model number on it is STE00500. Anyone know where I can find the exact dimensions so I can shop for accessories/add-ons?
You have the rack, but you don’t know the dimensions? Measuring tape?
This is a great write up David. A few things to add. Titan T-3 accessories will fit perfectly on a Bolt 2×3 rack. If you haven’t heard of Bolt it’s a new Houston Tx based company but I have their rack and a bunch of their stuff. However when they were sold out of somethings that I wanted I found your blog and looked into the Titan accessories since Rogue no longer makes the infinity series racks. I now have Titan lever arms, Titan J hooks and Titan leg press attachments on my Bolt rack. The only thing I’m looking for now is safety straps that will fit a 2×3 with 43” spacing. Titan is too short. Bolt also makes a 3×3 and those attachments I’m sure will fit other 3×3 racks and vise versa. Thanks for the info! And hope this helps.
It appears to me that Bolt is only doing in-store sales at their Houston warehouse and does not ship. Their website has some conflicting info on that. But I’ve added their name to the list of brands on those two tables because they seem to be selling enough units locally that they come up in discussions.
I’d like to add some front extensions to the bottom my power rack for stability to allow for some work in front of the rack. Is there a standard for when the holes typically start at the bottom of the rack for attachments that touch the ground so I can figure out which brands are compatible? I have a Fray Fitness F-1 Savage series power rack which has 3×3 uprights, 1” holes, and 2” spacing.
Excellent info, thanks!
With all this info do you know which rack(s) are the most universal? Fit the most attachments at the best prices kind of thing.
Do the Titan/Rep racks allow rogue and others accessories to attach? Sounds like the other way does not work.
Thanks again!
3×3 with 1″ or 5/8″ hardware should be the most compatible into the future. 2×3 with 5/8″ hardware is next best. Rogue sets the standard on sizing, due to the large volume they sell.
Titan, Rep and Rogue are generally all compatible for the same sizing category, if they don’t use 2 holes. For some attachments with UHMW lining inside the bracket, I’ve heard of people having to file it down to fit.
seems like a crazy and dumb question. the guide is super helpful…any idea if REP fitness 4000 series crossmembers & pull up bars would work with ROGUE monster lite uprights? front what I can tell, since it would require TWO attachment points on each crossmember, the answer is no. Can you confirm?
I have the Rogue Monster Lite Flat Foot (RML-390F) rack and want to “expand” by making it look more like the Rogue 690 racks. The only attachments I have seen that may make this possible is by adding the Titan X-3 Tall extension kit (10 or 24 inch) for flat foot power rack. Does anyone know if these are compatible? I see that that both use 3×3 11 gauge with 5/8 hardware, but have seen where anyone has actually tried to do this. Any help would be appreciated Thank you!
I saw where one person added the 24 inch to a RML rack and it fit fine. I also so a guy on Youtube do it. I have a RML 390F and bought the 10 inch extension kit from Titan. I will update when it all arrives.
Great, looking forward to hearing how it goes. Thanks again.
Pull the trigger fits great!!! Looks great! I attached the Titan X3 10″ extension tall. (Not even flat foot model). Lined right up.
I want to do exactly what you did… But how does it fit great when the 390F is 2in more wide than the X3?? Do you think there would be a problem getting the 10in flatfoot model vs. what you got or should I play it safe and get the regular (non-flat foot model) since it worked for you?
Did you ever figure out if the RML-390F is compatible with the Titan X-3 Series Flat Foot Extension Kit?
Did you ever figure out if the RML-390F is compatible with the Titan X-3 Series Flat Foot Extension Kit?
This is awesome! Thanks for the info. The Fitness Reality 810XLT Super Max Power Cage might be worth adding. 2×2” with 1” hardware.
Added, thanks!
You bet. If you’re looking to add more accessories to the list, they sell compatible dip bars, landmine base, plate holders, and j-cups. https://www.fitnessreality.com/accessories.html
Would you happen to know if flip down safeties would be compatible between the pr4000 and Vulcan flat foot?
Hello I got an ethos power rack and I’m having a hard time with finding side to lengthen the rack to 43in deep any suggestions
Does anyone know if the VERSASPOT® DUMBBELL SPOTTER SYSTEM from Rogue works on the Rep PR 5000 V2? Thanks!
Hi David,
Thank you for the guide. What would you recommend for a bar holder that will fit the Rep PR-4000? I was looking at both Titan and Rogue since Rep doesn’t make any. Thanks!
I would go with the Titan 3 Barbell Vertical Hanger, which looks more convenient to me and easier on the bar than a typical barbell holder that sits near the floor. You could also wall mount it.
Hi David,
Do the Rep Fitness ISO Arms (Pair) fit the Rogue Fitness RML-3WC foldable rack?
Like any of Rep’s attachments that use 2 holes, with a peg and a locking pin, they are made for metric hole spacing and won’t line up on Rogue Monster Lite racks’ 2″ hole spacing but will otherwise fit.
What dip horns attachment would work best for Ethos Power Rack 1.0–I cant find any place to buy the Ethos dip horn anywhere these days.
What is the peg size, tubing size, and hole spacing?
The Rep Fitness Dip Attachment for 1000-Series Racks is compatible with the Ethos Power Rack 1.0 (3×3, 1”). Works perfectly!
This is the one, attaches to the 1″ safety bars, right? Does your Ethos rack have 2″ hole spacing?
https://www.repfitness.com/rep-power-rack-dip-attachment
Yes, that is the one and yes on 2” hole spacing.
I thought the 1″ hole spacing was 3″ on the Ethos Power Rack 1.0?
consider adding in body solid gpr400 (3*3 tubing, 5/8 hardware)
Done, thanks!
Hi, I just bought a Body-Solid GPR380 power rack (see picture) and was looking to find attachments like J-hooks, plate storage, jammer arms etc
But when I measured the rack, I found it had very uncommon dimensions:
– 2×3 tubing
– 1” holes (no holes on the side)
– 3inch spacing between holes
Any thoughts if any attachments would be compatible with the rack?
Thanks
I believe that rack was discontinued years ago. Your best bet might be the Rogue Infinity attachments. The holes will be a little large.
